Abstract:
Section 14(i)(3) of the Consumer Product Safety Act requires the Commission to seek opportunities to reduce the cost of third party testing requirements consistent with assuring compliance with any applicable children's product safety rule. Staff is preparing for Commission consideration a briefing package with a draft notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) regarding third party testing of manufactured wood for phthalates and the ASTM F963 elements. |
