Title: National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellowships | |
Abstract:
The purpose of the National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) rule is to inform students of a nationwide competition to award fellowships and to encourage applications to those interested in pursuing a graduate degree in science or engineering. The proposed revisions to the rule provide the current criteria for the award of NDSEG fellowships and update the NDSEG program policies. The revisions also remove unnecessary content regarding internal DoD responsibilities and processes. 10 U.S.C. 2191 requires that DoD prescribe specific regulations to manage the NDSEG program. |
