Title: ●Procedures Governing Banks, Credit Unions and Other Financial Institutions on DoD Installations  
Abstract:

This part governs the process by which independent banks and credit unions are formed, operated and terminated on DoD installations. This includes DoD established military banking facilities that primarily operate at overseas locations with approval from the Treasury Department. Specifically, this part provides guidance intended to ensure that these three types of financial institutions are provided the same level of operational support by the Department, and in turn that they offer a minimum of financial and educational services, to DoD military and civilian personnel. This part will be incorporated into 32 CFR part 230, updated, then repealed with no cost impact to the public.
