View Rule

Over 65 financial assistance programs are administered in part or in whole by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration (WSFR) Program.  This rule would provide direction for all programs listed in WSFR authorities and responsibilities in the Service Manual at 518 FW 1 and consolidate application and performance reporting requirements for those programs.  As the administering program, WSFR has discretion in many areas of the financial assistance process that must be clarified.  This rule would simplify administration rules for recipients and streamline the award process and their understanding.  This rule is value-added to the Federal Government and increases transparency and understanding for State, local, and private award recipients.
