Title: ●Great Lakes Pilotage Rates--2018 Annual Review | |
Abstract:
The Coast Guard proposes new base pilotage rates and surcharges for 2018, as required by law. The changes would take effect after publication of the final rule. Rates for pilotage services on the Great Lakes were last revised in August 2017, and by law must be reviewed annually. This rulemaking promotes the Coast Guard’s maritime safety and stewardship (environmental protection) missions by promoting safe shipping on the Great Lakes. |
