Title: Energy Conservation Program: Test Procedure for Water-Source Heat Pumps 
Abstract:

Under a December 2007 amendment, the Energy Policy and Conservation Act, as amended (EPCA) requires DOE to conduct a review of its test procedure for each covered class once every seven years to determine if amendments are needed (42 U.S.C. 6314(a)(1)(A)).  The last test procedure final rule for Water-Source Heat Pumps (WSHPs) was published on October 21, 2004 (69 FR 61962). DOE is initiating an effort to determine whether amendments to the WSHPs test procedure are warranted.
