Abstract:

This rulemaking would standardize regulations and guidance for conducting airplane-level safety assessments of various critical systems installed on transport category airplanes. This rulemaking would adopt Aviation Rulemaking Advisory Committee recommendations and harmonize with the European Aviation Safety Agency CS-25.
