Title: Permanent Requirement for Helicopters to Use the New York North Shore Helicopter Route
Abstract:

This rulemaking would delete the expiration date and make permanent the requirement to use the New York North Shore Helicopter Route. The current rule requiring use of the route expires on August 6, 2020. This rule will protect and enhance public welfare by making the current rule permanent, thereby continuing to reduce helicopter overflights and attendant noise disturbance over nearby communities.
