Title: ●Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants: Reclassifying the American Burying Beetle from Endangered to Threatened with a 4(d) Rule
Abstract:

We will propose to reclassify the American burying beetle from an endangered species to a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act. While the primary threats to the species have been ameliorated, ongoing threats remain. We will also propose a rule under section 4(d) of the Act tailoring prohibitions to those most likely to harm the American burying beetle and its habitats. The American burying beetle occurs in Arkansas, Kansas, Massachusetts, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Dakota, and Texas.
