Title: ●Ballast Water Management--Removal of Annual Reporting Requirement | |
Abstract:
This rulemaking would eliminate the requirement in 33 CFR 151.2060 (e) and (f) for certain vessels that operate exclusively within a single Captain of the Port Zone to submit annual ballast water reports. Those vessels, which are U.S. non-recreational vessels equipped with ballast tanks, currently submit certain information about Ballast Water Management practices to the National Ballast Information Clearinghouse. These annual reports for 2016, 2017, and 2018, are due on March 31 of the following year. March 31, 2019, is the last due date. |
