Abstract:
The proposed rule would add cyber-security requirements for certain nuclear fuel cycle facility (FCF) applicants and licensees to the NRC's regulations. Certain FCFs would be required to establish, implement, and maintain a cyber-security program designed to protect the public health and safety and the common defense and security. The proposed requirements would apply to each applicant or licensee that is or plans to be authorized to possess greater than a critical mass of special nuclear material (SNM) and perform activities for which the Commission requires an integrated safety analysis, consistent with 10 CFR part 70, subpart H or subject to the requirements of 10 CFR part 40. |
