Title: Special Rules with Respect to Additional Station and Signal Lights | |
Abstract:
This final rule removes 32 CFR part 707 which notifies the public that due to their special function, Department of Navy (DON) vessels may display or use certain lights in addition to the standard navigational lights required by the 1972 International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (COLREGS). DON will continue to comply with the public notice requirements of 33 U.S.C. 1605 and Executive Order 11964, through the publication of notice documents in the Federal Register of any special station or signal lights used on naval vessels. |
