Title: ●Collecting and Reporting of Foreign Indebtedness within the Department of Defense
Abstract: This final rule will remove DoD's regulation for collecting and reporting foreign indebtedness within the DoD. This part establishes standard procedures to be used for the collecting and reporting of foreign indebtedness. Such indebtedness may arise through the sale of Defense articles and services pursuant to the Arms Export Control Act; operation of military missions; and/or logistical support provided under country-to-country agreements. These procedures apply to organizations internal to the Department and do not contain any significant public-facing procedures or information. Internal policy is addressed in DoD 7000.14-R, Financial Management Regulation. DoD will publish a notice Federal Register directing individuals to its internal guidance.
