View Rule

This final rule will remove the DoD regulation which provides internal guidelines to establish appropriate fees for authorized services supplied by DoD Components when such services provide special benefits to an identifiable recipient beyond those that accrue to the general public. This internal guidnace will continue to be provided in DoD Financial Management Regulation (DoD FMR) Volume 11A, Chapter 4, "User Fees." This document provides additional, more extensive information than the rule. Moreover, DoD FMR Volume 11A, Chapter 4, requires DoD Components to publish user fee schedules and rates on publicly available websites. DoD will publish a Notice in the Federal Register to direct the public to the DoD FMR.
