Title: Safety Improvement Technologies for Mobile Equipment at Surface Mines and Belt Conveyors at Surface and Underground Mines 
Abstract:

Since 2007, fatalities from accidents involving equipment at surface mines, and belt conveyors at surface and underground mines have increased.  MSHA is requesting data and information on technologies such as collision warning, seat belt starter interlock systems, and other technologies that can reduce accidents involving this equipment.
