Title: Oil and Natural Gas Sector: Emission Standards for New, Reconstructed, and Modified Sources Reconsideration | |
Abstract:
On June 3, 2016, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) finalized "Oil and Natural Gas Sector: Emission Standards for New, Reconstructed, and Modified Sources" (2016 OOOOa rule). The EPA received five petitions for reconsideration on the 2016 OOOOa rule. The EPA intends to reconsider certain aspects of the fugitive emissions requirements, including monitoring frequency, low production wells, and incorporating emerging technologies and state programs in the alternative means of emissions limitations. |
