Abstract:
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will propose regulatory provisions designed to strengthen the requirements for acquiring and maintaining a USCIS civil surgeon designation. DHS will propose requirements related to improving the vetting process associated with becoming a USCIS-designated civil surgeon, including revocation provisions, periodic renewal requirements, board certification requirements, and requirements related to a civil surgeon’s reporting of negative factors involving medical licensing or criminal history. |
