Title: Service Fees for the Administration of the Toxic Substances Control Act
Abstract:

As amended in June 2016, section 26(b)(1) of the Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA) authorizes EPA to issue a rule to establish fees to defray the cost (including contractor costs incurred by the Agency) associated with administering sections 4, 5, and 6, and collecting, processing, reviewing, and providing access to and protecting from disclosure information on chemical substances as appropriate under section 14. EPA issued a final rule in September 2018 that enabled the collection of fees beginning in October 2018.
