Title: ●Final Rule: One-Page Document on Passenger Rights | |
Abstract:
This rulemaking would respond to section 429 of the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2018 (FAA Reauthorization), "Passenger Rights," which states that the Secretary "shall require each covered air carrier to submit a summarized 1-page document that describes the rights of passengers in air transportation, including guidelines" regarding six issues listed in the statute. Section 429 further states that "[n]ot later than 90 days after each air carrier submits its guidelines to the Secretary...the air carrier shall make available such 1-page document in a prominent location on its website." |
