Title: ●Tribal Transportation Program: Delay of Date for Compliance With Requirements for Proposed Transportation Facilities 
Abstract:

BIA published a proposed rule that would delete requirements contained in 170.443 in July 2019 and has scheduled consultation in Alaska that coincides with other events likely to include Alaska Tribal leaders. These events occured in August and September 2019. The current compliance date in Section 170.443 for Tribes to submit data to National Tribal Transportation Facility Inventory (NTTFI) is November 7, 2019. Given that requirements of this section may be eliminated or revised, a delay of the November 7, 2019 compliance date is necessary to complete the rulemaking that reexamines this section. Immediate publication of this rule is necessary because Tribes will begin to collect and submit the information soon to meet the currently stated November deadline.
