Title: Repeal of the Clean Power Plan; Emission Guidelines for Greenhouse Gas Emissions From Existing Electric Utility Generating Units; Revisions to Emission Guideline Implementing Regulations 
Abstract:

On April 4, 2017, the EPA announced it is reviewing the Clean Power Plan (CPP), found at 40 CFR part 60, subpart UUUU via Executive Order 13771. The EPA proposed to repeal the CPP on October 16, 2017, on the grounds that it exceeds the statutory authority provided under section 111 of the Clean Air Act. On August 20, 2018, the EPA signed the proposed Affordable Clean Energy (ACE) rule as a replacement for the CPP. The final rule was published in the Federal Register on July 8, 2019, at 84 FR 32520. RIN 2060-AT55 has been subsumed into this final action.
