Title: Amend the Civil Procedure Regulations for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) | |
Abstract:
This rule will make updates, clarifications, corrections, and minor substantive changes to the civil procedure regulations for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) that are found at 15 CFR part 904. Part 904 sets forth the procedures governing NOAA's administrative proceedings for assessment of civil penalties, suspension, revocation, modification, or denial of permits, issuance and use of written warnings, and release or forfeiture of seized property. Revisions to part 904 will include, but are not limited to, updates for addresses, references to the statutes that NOAA enforces, and current collection procedures; clarifications for filing requirements, computation of time periods, and discretionary review criteria; corrections for cross-references, grammatical and spelling errors, and any internal inconsistencies; the addition of a definition of "written warning"; and changes in terminology to reflect NOAA's current use of EPA administrative law judges. |
