Title: The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Joint Staff Privacy Program | |
Abstract:
This final rule will remove the Department of Defense's regulation concerning the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Joint Staff Privacy Program. On April 11, 2019 (84 FR 14728), the Department of Defense published a revised DoD-level Privacy Program rule at 32 CFR part 310 that now serves as the single Privacy Program rule for the Department of Defense. When the DoD Privacy Program rule was revised, it included individual DoD component exemption rules and otherwise contains the necessary information for an agency Privacy Program regulation under the Privacy Act. Therefore, this part 313 may be removed from the CFR. This removal supports a recommendation of the DoD Regulatory Reform Task Force. |
