DHS/USCIS RIN: 1615-AC47 Publication ID: Spring 2020
Title: Limiting  Employment Authorization for Certain Classes of Aliens in the United States and Clarifying the Use of Parole Authority
Abstract:

DHS is proposing to revise its regulations governing its discretionary authority to grant parole and discretionary employment authorization under the Immigration and Nationality Act, 8 U.S.C. 1101 et seq., and other immigration statutes.  These revisions would strengthen DHS’s ability to effectively administer its parole and employment authorization authorities in support of DHS’s statutory obligation to ensure the prompt removal of inadmissible or deportable aliens from the United States, in keeping with current immigration enforcement priorities.
