Title: ●Marine Mammal Protection Act List of Fisheries for 2021
Abstract: The Marine Mammal Protection Act requires that NMFS evaluate U.S. fisheries annually and classify fisheries based on the extent of mortality or serious injury of marine mammals caused by each fishery known as the "List of Fisheries." The List of Fisheries does not impose any regulatory changes on a fishery. Accordingly, this rulemaking action proposes changes to the classification of certain fisheries, the list of marine mammals incidentally killed or injured in fisheries, the number of vessels/persons currently in each fishery, and other administrative changes for the 2021 List of Fisheries.
