Title: Energy Conservation Standards for Fluorescent Lamp Ballast | |
Abstract:
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is required to review its standards for fluorescent lamp ballasts once every six years consistent with the Energy Policy and Conservation Act (EPCA), as amended, to determine whether these standards should be amended. As a result of this effort, DOE may either propose to amend the standards or make a determination that no amendments to the standards are required. In a proposed rulemaking published on October 22, 2019, 84 FR 56540, 56541, DOE initially determined that energy conservation standards for fluorescent lamp ballasts do not need to be amended and requested comment on this proposed determination. Next, after considering all of the comments, DOE will make its final determination. |
