Title: Alternative Work Practices for Leak Detection and Repair Amendments | |
Abstract:
On December 22, 2008, EPA published a voluntary alternative work practice for leak detection and repair using a newly developed technology, optical gas imaging. Since promulgation, advancements have been made in leak detection technologies that warrant examination of revisions to the alternative work practice. Additionally, the agency received a request for administrative reconsideration from American Petroleum Institute (API) on February 20, 2009. This package would update the alternative work practice and address the issues raised for reconsideration. |
