Abstract:
The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is issuing a proposed regulation to revise its reduction-in-force (RIF) regulations. The revision, issued under OPM’s authority set forth in Chapter 35 and Chapter 43 title 5 United States Code as implemented in Parts 351 and 430, Title 5 Code of Federal Regulations implements one of the principles of section 2(j) of Executive Order (EO) 13839 titled, Promoting Accountability and Streamlining Removal Procedures Consistent with Merit Systems and Principles. |
