Title: ●Migratory Birds; Agency Species Protection Permit
Abstract:

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Migratory Bird Program will propose a new rule to authorize government agencies to take migratory birds to protect species of concern, such as endangered and threatened species. This activity is already occurring. However, current regulations are ill-suited to authorize this activity, creating administrative burden and legal risk for the Service and permittees. A new regulation will clarify scope and expectations, and reduce administrative burden and legal risk.
