Title: ●Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; 12-Month Petition Finding and Proposed Listing Determination for Alligator Snapping Turtle
Abstract:

We will make a listing determination for the alligator snapping turtle (Macroclemys temmincki) under the Endangered Species Act. The alligator snapping turtle is found primarily in the Southeastern States, from Florida to Texas and as far north as Iowa. We will also propose to designate critical habitat for this species, if prudent and determinable.
