Title: Safety Management Systems for Domestic Passenger Vessels  
Abstract:

The Coast Guard is seeking public input on a possible rulemaking to create a new safety management system (SMS) for passenger and small passenger vessels. The Coast Guard is developing an Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPRM) to request public comment on the scope, content, benefits, and costs of a possible SMS rule.
