| Title: Fee Adjustment for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Form I-246, Application for a Stay of Deportation or Removal | |
|
Abstract:
The Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has determined that the current fee for ICE Form I-246, Application for a Stay of Deportation or Removal, does not fully recover the costs incurred to perform the full range of activities associated with determining if a noncitizen ordered deported or removed from the United States is eligible to obtain a stay of deportation or removal. DHS will propose to adjust the fee to capture the full cost of accepting or denying a noncitizen’s request for a stay. |
