Title: ●Establishing Requirement for Student and Exchange Visitor Program Certified Schools to Disclose Agreements with Confucius Institutes and Classrooms
Abstract:

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) originally proposed requiring Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP)-certified schools at all education levels to disclose contractual agreements, partnerships with, financial transactions involving, or any other affiliation with Confucius Institutes and Classrooms or any other cultural institute directly or indirectly funded by the Government of the People’s Republic of China.  DHS is evaluating the need for such requirements.
