Title: Revision of the Definition of Target Housing for Lead-Based Paint Regulations
Abstract: In the May 2017 Appropriations Bill, Congress amended EPA's statutory definition of target housing to include zero-bedroom dwellings if a child is a resident. This final rule would implement that change into EPA's lead-based paint regulations. Because this action is being taken to conform the regulations to a Congressional legislative mandate, EPA has no discretion as to the outcome of this rule.
