Abstract: The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is removing the regulatory provisions associated with the final rule Strengthening Transparency in Pivotal Science Underlying Significant Regulatory Actions and Influential Scientific Information. This withdrawal effectuates the vacatur of the final rule ordered by the United States District Court for the District of Montana. It is also responsive to Executive Order 13990 on Protecting Public Health and the Environment and Restoring Science to Tackle the Climate Crisis, signed on January 20, 2021.
