Title: Wearing of the Uniform 
Abstract:

DoD is proposing amendments to the existing rule to further refine acceptable wear of the military uniform. The existing rule has not been updated since it was published on January 30, 1970 at 35 FR 1236. The intended effect of this amendment is to clarify proper wear of the uniform when participating in either official or unofficial public speeches as well as adding an additional occasion, namely pre-approved community outreach activities, to which particular former members of the Armed Forces may wear the uniform.
