Title: ●Energy Conservation Standards for Dedicated-Purpose Pool Pump Motors | |
Abstract:
In accordance with 42 U.S.C. 6313, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) may prescribe energy conservation standards for commercial equipment classified as covered equipment under section 42 U.S.C. 6313. DOE has established test procedures for dedicated-purpose pool pump motors. DOE will pursue a rulemaking to analyze whether energy conservation standards for dedicated-purpose pool pump motors are technologically feasible and economically justified, and whether such standards would result in significant energy savings. |
