Title: ● Nonprofit Agency Mandatory Disclosure Reporting Requirements | |
Abstract:
The Committee for Purchase from People Who Are Blind or Severely Disabled (Committee) is seeking comment in order to amend its regulation to prescribe a requirement for AbilityOne-qualified nonprofit agencies to report certain alleged or proven violations against the nonprofit agencies. The proposed revision to the Committee’s regulation will address nonprofit agency reporting requirements as a condition to maintain AbilityOne Program qualification. The Committee is considering requiring all qualified nonprofit agencies in the AbilityOne Program to establish and maintain a Contractor Code of Business Ethics and Conduct, consistent with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) at 48 CFR 3.10, and that nonprofit agencies must provide timely disclosure of alleged contractor violations to the Committee, in addition to relevant requirements to notify the applicable contracting activity. The mandatory disclosure reporting requirements will mirror the existing scope and practice articulated in the cooperative agreements the Committee has currently executed with its designated central nonprofit agencies. |
