Title: ●AmeriCorps Seniors Temporary Allowance Regulations 
Abstract:

CNCS intends to promulgate regulations that define allowances as authorized in sections 213(d) and 211(b) of title II of the Domestic Volunteer Service Act of 1973, as amended (42 U.S.C. 5011, 5013).  Under certain extraordinary circumstances, these allowance payments could be made in lieu of stipends otherwise paid to volunteers who serve in the National Senior Service Corps' (AmeriCorps Seniors') Senior Companion (SCP) and Foster Grandparent (FGP) programs for their service at grantee organization.  CNCS intends to promulgate these regulations by amending FGP and SCP regulations located at 45 CFR parts 2551 and 2552, respectively.
