Abstract:
The General Services Administration is proposing to amend the Federal Travel Regulation (FTR) by adding definitions, such as coach class, extra-fare train, and usually traveled route, to the Glossary of Terms; adopting recommendations from agencies and the Senior Travel Officials Council to simplify the FTR; introducing management controls for the use of premium economy airline accommodations; consolidating duplicative regulations pertaining to the use of common carrier transportation accommodations; removing outdated regulations; sequencing common carrier regulations for a more logical order; and making miscellaneous editorial corrections. |
