Abstract:

The U.S. General Services Administration, in coordination with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is issuing a joint proposed rule amending the Federal Management Regulation part 102-75 - Real Property Disposal, subpart H - Use of Federal Real Property to Assist the Homeless.  This amendment is necessary due to provisions in the Federal Assets Sale and Transfer Act of 2016 (Pub. L. 114287, 130 Stat 1463) to streamline the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. 11411).
