Title: Limitations on Awards to Entities Operating Certain Communication Networks (DFARS Case 2021-D024) 
Abstract:

DoD is proposing to amend the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement to implement section 1662 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021.  Section 1662 prohibits the award, or renewal of a contract, with an entity than engages in commercial terrestrial operations using the 1525 megahertz band or the 1626.5-1660.5 megahertz band, unless the Secretary of Defense has certified to the congressional defense committees that such operations do not cause harmful interference to DoD Global Positioning System devices.
