Title: ●Labeling Requirements for Alternative Fuels and Alternative-Fueled Vehicles
Abstract:

During 2023, as part of the systematic review of all Commission rules, the Commission plans to initiate a periodic review of the Alternative Fuel Rule (or Labeling Requirements for Alternative Fuels and Alternative-Fueled Vehicles Rule) by publishing a notice seeking public comments on the effectiveness and impact of the Rule. The Rule, which became effective on November 20, 1995, requires disclosure of appropriate cost and benefit information to enable consumers to make reasonable purchasing choices and comparisons between nonliquid alternative fuels as well as alternative-fueled vehicles.
