Title: HUBZone Appeal Process | |
Abstract:
Section 864 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2022 authorizes SBA’s Office of Hearings and Appeals to decide all appeals from protest determinations regarding the status of a concern as a qualified HUBZone small business concern and requires SBA to publish a rule implementing this authority by December 27, 2022. To implement this statutory provision, SBA intends to amend the HUBZone regulations at 13 CFR 126.805 and to add a new subpart to 13 CFR 134 addressing HUBZone appeals. These regulations will set forth proposed processes pursuant to which HUBZone appeals will be filed and decided. |
