Title: Fee Adjustment for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Form I-246, Application for a Stay of Deportation or Removal | |
Abstract:
The Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) will propose to adjust the fee for ICE Form I-246, Application for a Stay of Deportation or Removal. ICE has determined that the current fee does not recover the costs incurred to perform the full range of activities associated with determining if a noncitizen ordered deported or removed from the United States is eligible to obtain a stay of deportation or removal. This rule is consistent with Executive Order 14058, which directs agencies to take actions that improve service delivery and customer experience by decreasing administrative burdens, enhancing transparency, and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of government |
