Title: Regulations for the Protection, Management, and Control of Wild Horses and Burros | |
Abstract:
The proposed rule would update the 43 CFR part 4700 regulations to reflect changes to the Wild Free-Roaming Horses and Burros Act of 1971. These regulations largely have not been updated since 1986. This rulemaking would address the wild horse and burro management challenges by adding regulatory tools that better reflect the BLM’s current statutory authorities. |
