Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Listing Determination for Six Indian Tarantulas | |
Abstract:
FWS will make listing determinations, based on the best available scientific and commercial data, for the beautiful parachute spider (Poecilotheria formosa), Rameshwaram parachute spider (Poecilotheria hanumavilasumica), wonderful parachute spider (Poecilotheria miranda), peacock parachute spider (Poecilotheria metallica), Mysore ornamental tarantula (Poecilotheria striata), and redslate ornamental tarantula (Poecilotheria rufilata) under the Endangered Species Act. These six species are found in India. |
