Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Reclassification of Topeka Shiner | |
Abstract:
FWS will reassess the listing status of the Topeka shiner (Notropis topeka), which is currently listed as endangered. The latest 5-year review recommended downlisting. Our status determination will be based on the best available information as of the time of publication, which means we may propose to downlist or delist the species, unless we determine no change in status is warranted. The Topeka shiner is found in Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, and South Dakota. |
