Title: ●Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Listing Determination for Long-Tailed Chinchilla and Short-Tailed Chinchilla
Abstract: FWS will make listing determinations, based on the best available scientific and commercial data, for the long-tailed chinchilla (Chinchilla lanigera) and short-tailed chinchilla (Chinchilla chinchilla) under the Endangered Species Act. These mammals are found in South America. The long-tailed chinchilla is found in Chile, and the short-tailed chinchilla is found in Argentina, Bolivia, and Chile.
