Abstract:

The FBI plans to make various technical edits to its regulations implementing the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS), including revising the definition of NICS Indices and other definitions, adding provisions regarding access by tribal agencies and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and updating terminology and other provisions.
